Guide to Greatness, LLC consults in three basic areas:

  • Process Improvement
  • Performance Management
  • Problem Solving.

Process Improvement

The goal of process improvement is to develop an organization's capacity for extraordinary product and/or service. Process improvement consulting involves assessing how well the current system is functioning. Some of the areas examined include the flow of materials and people, how variation within the system is managed, and the current thinking behind improvement. It involves generating new thinking and recognizes that other areas aside from the process(es) under scrutiny are often affected (i.e. leadership, culture, etc.).

Performance Management

The goal of performance management is to ensure people are being treated well, which is reflected in their performance. Performance management examines how people work (independently and collectively), if they are working to their capability, or if there are elements hindering their success. It also involves redefining leadership and identifying the culture that has been created – or is in the midst of being created – to ensure that it supports a healthy and fun work environment.

Problem Solving

The goal of problem solving is to fix what is not working, and get back to business. When it comes to solving problems, we are interested in maintaining the integrity of the process. Sometimes problem solving tactics initiate a process improvement or performance management strategy.
