Coaching is an expression of your commitment to someone – but you must articulate the commitment before expressing the coaching! Otherwise, your commitment may not be heard. How big is your team? Is it only you, or does it include your department, your facility, your entire organization, your customers, your suppliers, the community, the state, the nation…the planet? Your behaviors are reflected in how big you define your team… True leadership is the commitment to the success of the people around you. For a relationship to change, only one element needs to change – one person, one thought, one event… Transformation begins exactly as you are right now. You will be amazed by what opportunities reveal themselves when the “universe” knows your intention. Control versus Influence: In business, it is believed that one can control people and influence processes or [mechanical] systems, when the opposite is actually true.
